Why FAHEEM
Built for the gap between two bad options
Most growing businesses sit between a part-time bookkeeper who records transactions accurately but cannot tell the owner what they mean, and a full finance function whose cost is impossible to justify before a certain scale. Either way the owner decides on instinct, and the numbers arrive too late to matter.

The name
فهيم
An Arabic adjective: one who understands. Not one who records, not one who calculates. It describes the deliverable, not the activity: numbers are the input, understanding is the product.
Services
Twelve service families, grouped by their role in the finance cycle
Services are not sold as a list. They are grouped by the role they play in the finance cycle, so you can see where an engagement starts and what it grows into.

A
How engagements start
Most clients begin in Record: the books have to be trustworthy before anything built on them means anything. Families are added as the business needs them, not sold as a bundle.
B
How it grows
A client on bookkeeping alone moves to reporting, then to interpretation. The chart of accounts set up in family 01 is what makes families 03 to 06 possible without rework.
C
Scope is written down
Every engagement letter states which families are in scope, the closing calendar, and what the client supplies. Ambiguous scope is the most common cause of a failed accounting relationship.
Approach
From transaction to decision
The nine stages every FAHEEM engagement moves through. Most firms stop at stage five.

01
What you receive
A report that gets read, not filed
The position first, then the evidence. Every figure carries a comparison, and every pack ends in a recommended action. A report that is accurate but unread has failed; a report that changes a decision has worked.

What digital changes
Records are current rather than quarterly. Reports arrive days after close, not months. Documents are exchanged securely instead of by email attachment.
What it does not change
A qualified person still reviews the ledger, reconciles the balances and signs off the pack. Automation removes handling, not judgement.
Platform position
We work within your existing platform wherever possible, rather than requiring a migration before the engagement can start. Systems are chosen to fit the client, never the reverse.

FAQ
Before you get in touch
Direct answers to what owners ask before an engagement starts.
Do we need to change our accounting system first?
In most cases, no. We work within your existing platform wherever possible; systems are chosen to fit the business, never the reverse. If the system itself is the problem, we say so in writing before any migration.
How does FAHEEM work remotely?
Documents reach us through agreed secure digital channels, we work in your system or one we agree on, and reports are issued to a closing calendar published in advance. Delivery is digital, but a qualified finance professional still reviews the ledger and signs off the reporting pack.
Which countries do you serve?
Businesses in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider GCC. We work to IFRS and handle VAT in Egypt (14%) and Saudi Arabia (15%).
How are fees set?
A fixed monthly fee based on scope: transaction volume, number of entities and branches, and the service families included. We set it after a short diagnostic of your books, and it is written into the engagement letter.
Where do engagements usually start?
Most clients begin in Record: the books have to be trustworthy before anything built on them means anything. Other families are added as the business needs them, not sold as a bundle.
How do you keep our data confidential?
Access is limited to the engagement team, and every financial reporting pack carries a Client Confidential label. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before any data is exchanged.
Do you provide legal advice, statutory audit or representation before authorities?
No. We prepare returns and the records that support them, but the service is not formal legal or tax advice, a statutory audit, or representation before regulators. We coordinate with your auditor or adviser where needed.
In which language are reports issued?
Arabic, English, or both side by side. Figures are always Western numerals (1234), the currency code precedes the amount, and negatives sit in parentheses.
